About Abundant Life

Abundant Life is a part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (www.foursquare.org) and started in 1947. The church has seen many transitions during its sixty plus years of history. In the fall of 2000 Pastor Bob and Shari Bankhead were appointed to serve as pastors of the church at a time when the ministry was in need of a fresh start. Since 2000 the facilities have gone through a series of renovations and expansions. More importantly is the work that the Lord has done in the lives of people; the church has steadily grown in every dimension as we seek to impact Mooresville and our world with the love of Jesus Christ. Jesus told His followers to “go into the entire world, making disciples everywhere you go!” At Abundant Life we seek to fulfill that command in all that we do, both as a church and as individuals. We believe that if we build God’s people He will build His church and it will be a church that overflows with the abundance of the kind of life that Jesus promised.

The future is bright as we follow the Lord and share His love and grace in all that we do!
