Women’s Ministry

When we chose the ALOFT name (which stands for Abundant Life/Ladies, our Fellowship Together), I felt that the Lord challenged us as Ladies to look at the definition of ALOFT.

Definition of ALOFT

1) at or to a great height   2) in the air; especially: in flight   3) at, on, higher

Examples of ALOFT

1) The balloon stayed aloft for days.

2) The ease with which he can hold a ballerina aloft with one hand is awesome.

Synonyms: above, over, overhead   —  Antonyms: below, beneath, under

So based on the above definition, God has called & will enable us to soar to greater heights as He continues to hold us ‘higher’, over & above our challenges.  We don’t have to live ‘below, beneath or under’ the struggles of our daily lives.

Attention Ladies! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, January 10 as we kick-off 2012 with “Seeking A Heart Like David” by Beth Moore. We will also be drawing secret sisters. There is lots of fun in store for ALOFT!
